 SAS-Code for BE

Hello Ganesh,

I would recommend:

Chow S-C and J-p Liu
Design and Analysis of Bioavailability and Bioequivalence Studies
Marcel Dekker, New York/Basel/Hong Kong (2nd Edition 2000)
Appendix B (pp 559-576) gives SAS-Code for Average BE.

Bolton S and C Bon
Pharmaceutical Statistics - Practical and Clinical Applications
Marcel Dekker, New York/Basel/Hong Kong (4th Edition 2004)
Appendix VIII gives some code in Excel (pp 559-652) and SAS (pp 653-710) for various applications, including BE.

Some SAS-code is also given throughout the text in:
Patterson S and B Jones
Bioequivalence and Statistics in Clinical Pharmacology
Chapman & Hall/CRC, Boca Raton/London/New York (2006)

 SAS-Code for BE

Dear Ganesh,

another reference is a whitepaper by Matos-Pita and Lillo (2005). Caution: the confidence interval is erroneously calculated by a fixed t-value of 1.761 – you must use the correct t-value according to your degrees of freedom.
