Dear d_labes,

I am sure you have a point - but I don't understand it. You are probably not wrong in any way, I am sure, but my walnutsized brain cut out when I tried to understand what you are trying to achieve.

Why not just extract model effects from the raw model fit without intercept?
I mean Foobar = lm(logY ~ 0 + Treatment + blahblah )
Then use the residual to get the CI?

In case the answer is somehow hidden in your first post I hope you can somehow reformulate (I hate that word, sorry) it so that I can understand.
