I finally managed to get some working code up and running too for this.
1.000.000 sims at CV=0.3 and n1=36 method B takes [Praise C] 45 seconds [/Praise C] :pirate:

on my laptop using Mersenne Twister as my NLYW.

I think there is some work to be done here. They seem to use a funny way to calculate power; I bet the magnificent package power.TOST can do it better.
