Install the R Programming Compiler from Google Play or the App Store. In its current versions (4.4.4 of 23 September 2023 for Android, 4.7.4 of 2 October 2023 for iOS) 🇷 4.3.1 (2023-06-16) is supported. It comes with many of the common packages already installed.

On Android 14:

The packages’ latest versions are available on the server. One example is TeachingDemos 2.13, which was published just 13 days ago. A drawback is that the plain text version of man-pages is shown instead of the HTML-version in the browser.
