Dear Friends, Please help me getting IVIVC package for R studio. Any link will be helpful. If any relevant article explaining steps doing it will be helpful. I don't know if any previous post related to same topic there in forum? Edit: Category changed; see also this post #1. [Helmut] |

Hi Rayhope, ❝ Please help me getting IVIVC package for R studio. There are no “packages for R Studio”. R Studio is an IDE for (see there for its pros and cons). There are only R packages. ❝ Any link will be helpful. ivivc for R by Hsin−ya Lee and Yung-jin Lee. ❝ If any relevant article explaining steps doing it will be helpful. I don't know if any previous post related to same topic there in forum? Did you try the search field in the top right corner of the forum? What about this one? The installation worked perfectly as described with 64bit R 4.1.3 on Window 7 build 7601, Service Pack 1, Universal C Runtime 10.0.10240.16390. After copying the relevant libraries (see #4 below), it worked with R 4.2.1 as well. If you are on a more recent version of Windows (likely) and don’t have R 4.1.3 still installed (probably), it’s a little tricky cause the script preinst.r works only with R 4.1.x.My procedure with R 4.2.1 already installed on Windows 11 21H2 build 22000.675:
unins000.exe ) and delete the remaining library -folder.Edit: Tested for all versions up to 4.4.2 (2024-10-31). — Dif-tor heh smusma 🖖🏼 Довге життя Україна! Helmut Schütz The quality of responses received is directly proportional to the quality of the question asked. 🚮 Science Quotes |

Dear Helmut, Amazing post. Great tip - '... When asked by the installer: Do not write the version number in the registry.' This post has been about more than four months ago. Sorry about that. ❝ ... ❝ My procedure with R 4.2.1 already installed on Windows 11 21H2 build 22000.675: ❝ 1. Download the installer of 4.3.1 from CRAN and install as usual (only the 64bit files). When asked by the installer: Do not write the version number in the registry. Typo error here? The download link was directed to R 4.1.3, not R 4.3.1. @Rayhope: yes, it is doable actually to run ivivc for R under RStudio. I can directly output all graphs to RStudio device instead of cairoDevice when the platform is RStudio. However, is it really necessary? If you want to save the plots, please move your mouse pointer to the plot, and press the right mouse button once. Then save the plot as one of jpeg/pdf (recommended with the best result)/png formats. — All the best, -- Yung-jin Lee bear v2.9.2:- created by Hsin-ya Lee & Yung-jin Lee Kaohsiung, Taiwan https://www.pkpd168.com/bear Download link (updated) -> here |
