 smoke detectors

Dear ssk,
It is not mandatory to put smoke detectors in bathrooms and toilets.
Some volunteers may be able to take cigarettes to into study area and subsequently smoke it in bathroom. It is better if you put smoke detectors in bathrooms and toilets.

Sumanta.

 smoke detectors

dear sumanta,

first of all a very good question, if volunteers are smoking means it shows our negligence, the way we frisk them, secondary they are used for detecting smoke to prevent fire accidents, it is adsvisable to keep them in all areas, not only bathrooms.

 smoke detectors

Dear Manish,
I agree with you. Apart from the reason you mentioned for smoke detector, it is also used to detect fine particles. Drug authorities expect the study center to be situated far from pollution (i.e. industrial dust). Smoke detector also helps in detecting degree of pollution. It should be placed in all the areas of study center.

Regards,
Sumanta.
