Ratio % in ABE vs. Point Estimate in RSABE [RSABE / ABEL]

Both these terms are defined as ratio of geometric means, however, they are not always equal, why?

 Specify the question

Hi,

The questions like this one have low probability to be answered.
Please be more polite and specific. Where did you observe different values? Are you referring to geometric means or LSMs in case of incomplete data?

Kind regards,
Mittyri

 Specify the question

Dear Mittyri, thank you very kindly for responding and my sincere apology if I inadvertently failed to follow forum procedure
Kind regards
Ahmed

I am using a template on WinNonlin to analyze RSABE data according to FDA. In the final conclusion table I get this

ABE; Ratio%: 64.85; 90% CI Lower: 54.00, 90% CI Upper: 77.88
RSABE; sWR: 0.446; Point Estimate: 1.0284; Critical Bound -0.0989
My question is: should not the Ratio% be the same as Point Estimate?

3b vs ABE PE FDA RSABE

Hi Ahmed,

I did see some ABE results different from 3B criterion, but haven't seen such a significant difference, so I don't think it is possible to help you without data.

Kind regards,
Mittyri

 Data?

Hi Ahmed,

❝ I am using a template on WinNonlin to analyze RSABE data according to FDA.

PEs obtained by ABE and RSABE can be very similar but must not be identical since the underlying statistical models are different. However, as Mittyri mentioned I never ever saw such a big difference…
