 Kinetica is over [Software]

Hi All,

looks like the legendary software is over
Thermo Fisher Scientific has made a strategic decision to move the Thermo Scientific™ Kinetica™ software to end of life status. End of life means that sustaining support for Kinetica will be available until July 31, 2019, and includes Technical Support assistance and access to our Knowledgebase articles, but will not include any product update releases. Following July 31, 2019, you may continue to use the software, provided that the ancillary components such as operating system that support the installed environment are operational.

@ Helmut: isn't some nail in the coffin yours? ;-)

Kind regards,

Hi mittyri,

Rest in peace. Will not miss it. Saw it still installed on some machines a couple of days ago in Amman.

Never got it running on 64bit Win7. Had to use a 32bit XP virtual machine.

Yep. And Anders' and Detlew's. :-D

My battery-charger didn’t survive the flight from Amman to Prague. Will answer ASAP.
