 Importance of Internal Standard in BA/BE subject analysis [Bioanalytics]

  1. Can any one tell me the importance of use of internal standard in BA/BE subject analysis?
  2. Can subject analysis be carried out without use of internal standard and will this data be accepted by regulatory (USFDA, ANVISA etc..)?
