 Effect of speed (rpm) on temperature [Bioanalytics]

I wanted to know that is there any relation ship between rpm and temperature. Can performance check of temperature and speed performed simultaneously during calibration of centrifuge or shall they be performed seperately.

But: temperature depends also on the geometry of the rotor, the buckets, the containment, the duration,...

Please specify 'performance check' and 'calibration'.
