Dear All,

I would like to know that, during Calculation of Stock solution Preparation, If 'dried base' and 'As Such' both % Assay (From COA)of reference drug available then, which % assay we consider for calculation of stock solution?

If any reference available regarding that please let me know.

 Stock solution preparation

Hi Vishal,

Purity of any compound is the Potency calculated on as is basis. Hence when calculating the concentration of Stock solution one should consider the potency on as is basis only. If not given it can be derived from potency reported on dried or anhydrous basis.
