Stability of lysed whole blood or hemolyzed plasma [Bioanalytics]

Hello All,

We prepare lysed whole blood or hemolyzed plasma (2-5%) in-house. The hemolyzed plasma is used in testing selectivity, matrix effect and accuracy. We want to be able to keep either the lysed whole blood or hemolyzed plasma in deep freezer (-80 C) to make them readily available when needed. Is there any reference that at least imply that lysed whole blood or hemolyzed plasma can be kept in the deep freezer for a period of time without added stabilizer and that no significant losses in those molecules causing interference were observed? If you don't mind, kindly share how you keep your hemolyzed blank plasma?

Regards,
Ladi
