For method validation for a molecule, is there any criteria to choose between API instruments available.

Dear Shankar,

It totally depends upon the pharmacokinetic properties of every individual molecule. The detection limits are known to be wider for the API 4000 and API 5000. It is difficult to classify molecules in this manner.

Hi Shankar

It is very diffcult to select the instrument by molecule. selection of instrument is totally depend on your LLOQ. If your API-4000 detect LLOQ than you can go with this instrument and if not than you have to go for high sensitive instrument like API-5000.
