 Rsquare and AUCinf [Design Issues]

Dear All,

I have a doubt regarding Rsquare and AUCinf.
If the rsquare value is less than 80%, why we have to remove the AUCinf value?

I don't understand your question. :confused:

Are you sure not to mix two things up?
  • AUCt should be ≥80% of AUC (unless your primary metric is truncated AUC72).
  • R² or R²adj are sometimes used in selecting “best fitting” data in the estimation of the elimination phase. 0 ≤ R² ≤ 1; no “80%” there – any arbitrary cut-off (do you mean 0.8?) is useless.
