❝ I have a doubt regarding Rsquare and AUCinf.

❝ If the rsquare value is less than 80%, why we have to remove the AUCinf value?

• AUC_t should be ≥80% of AUC_∞ (unless your primary metric is truncated AUC₇₂).
  
• R² or R²_adj are sometimes used in selecting “best fitting” data in the estimation of the elimination phase. 0 ≤ R² ≤ 1; no “80%” there – any arbitrary cut-off (do you mean 0.8?) is useless.
