 Add-on designs [Design Issues]

Hi,
I have read all discussion releated to add-on design. It is very Knowledge able.
Now Please can any one tell me some reference to read on add-on designs or Any Case study in which add-on design was used.
I have gone through Canadian guidlines (Section 7.4.2) they have mentioned to use Pooled Anova for testing Formulation by Study interation. Please give some details on Pooled Anova. how it is to be performed in this case.
Thanks & Regards,

 Query on Canadian guidlines

Dear All,
In canadian guidlines Section 7.4.2: Consistency tests for Combining studies Table 7-A is mentioned as Pooled ANOVA for testing formulation by study interaction from S two period cross-over studies of size N1.

Now my question is wheather it means Anova on pooled data or simply performing anova on data of 2nd study and then pooling the data if formulation by study interaction effect is not significant.

Thanks for ur replies in advance.

With Best Regards
Ravi

 Query on Canadian guidlines

Dear Ravi,

As per my knowledge to estimate formulation by study interaction effect we have to combine both the studies. If formulation by study interaction effect is not significant, we can proceed for CI calculation based on both studies.

SKR.
