Dear Sir, We have planned a BE study for ANVISA submissions, DCG(I) and Ethics committee approval is at place but now we are planning to change inclusion critria of volunteers like BMI and for some additional Pathological tests. So we have planned to acknowledge this concern in Note to file which will be submitted ethics committee, is it right decision to acknowledge in Note to file or we need to versionize the protocol notify to DCG(I). Meanwhile please suggest BMI criteria for ANVISA submission. Your suggestion will be highly appreciated. Rgds, Santosh |

Dear Santosh, ❝ Dear Sir, Not interested in Ladies' opinions ? ❝ [...] we are planning to change inclusion critria of volunteers like BMI and for some additional Pathological tests. So we have planned to acknowledge this concern in Note to file Not in a note to file: if you change the inclusion criteria and add some path tests you need to issue an amendment to the protocol and submit it to the Ethics Committee and DCGI. Dear Mr Santhosh, ❝ is it right decision to acknowledge in Note to file or we need to versionize the protocol notify to DCG(I). No. You cannot capture the change in BMI and addition of some pathological tests as 'Note to File'. You need to raise either Protocol amendment or Change of version of protocol since you are planning to change the inclusion criteria such as BMI and some pathological tests. ❝ Meanwhile please suggest BMI criteria for ANVISA submission. As per ANVISA's Resolution - RE nº 1170 of 19 May 2006, the weight of the subjects shall be within a limit of +/- 15% of the weight considered normal for men and women, taking into account height and physical structure In case of contraceptives, one recommends that the limit of weight is ± 10 %; — Dr Gunasakaran Sambandan MD Disclaimer: The replies/posts are my personal opinions, and they do not represent my company's views on the same.
