Is there any regulation of IEC (Independent Ethics Committee) in India ?

Dear Suchit!

See the Ethical Guidelines for Biomedical Research on Human Participants published by the Indian Council of Medical Research in Oct 2006.
You have to get approval from the IEC before submitting the required documents to DCGI (this order is a brand new requirement; parallel submission to the IEC and DCGI is not possible any more).
