Hi Achievwin, ❝ Does anyone know the shelf life of Lupron depot 1 month, 3 month and 4 month LAI shelf-life or expiration date of US and EU RLDs? First of all, there is no “EU RLD” (see here and there). Interestingly no shelf-life is given in its label (US) and SmPC (EU), only the storage conditions (between 20° to 25°C). The shelf-life is reported as 3 years.* However, it is not specified in the paper where this information came from. Why don’t you purchase one and see what’s stated in the package?

Dear Helmut: Thanks for the thoughtful response, it boil down to the countrywide practice, India and some countries (I believe, UK and Europe) print Manufacturing and expiration dates, whereas US prints only Exp. Date (MM/YYYY). I want to here what is our peers experience in ex-US countries. |

I want to here what is our peers experience in ex-US countries. Same with another drug also manufactured in Austria but the shelf-life is additionally printed on the blisters. I guess, it is similar in other members states of the EU. A drug manufactured in Denmark but distributed in New Zealand gives the expiry (MM/YYYY) and storage conditions on the package. Hi Helmut: Is it 1-month (7.5 mg) or 4-month (30 mg), looking at 9/2027 and we are in August 2025 that puts shelf life beyond 24 months? so I am thinking shelf life can be 36 months. ❝ Just checked one package (other drug!) manufactured in Austria, which I bought today. No manufacturing date, just ‘verw. bis 09/2027’ (German short for ‘usable until 09/2027’). Nothing on the blisters. The patient’s leaflet states only the storage conditions. |
