Dear John ❝ Are morphine and hydromorphone approved drugs in India? If so, what is the highest dose per product? I am not sure about Hydromorphone but yes, Morphine is approved in India. As per National Formulary 2011 it is available as a) INJECTION 10 ml ampoule (1 mg/ml, 10 mg/ ml, 15 mg/ml) b) TABLETS 10, 20, 30 and 60 mg. But it is Controlled Medicine Under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985. From this link you can find list of drugs approved in India from 1971-till date.
