Dear HS & Forum members, This is regarding the period effect in replicate study with four period, how the period effect is calculated in replicate study, as we get only one value for period effect???
If any of the above assumption is true how it is considered for four period fully replicate study as for period effect we should get 2 values as we give two times test and two times reference. Thank you very much in advance. Regards, Ratnakar Jadhav -- Edit: Please see this post. [Jaime] |

In replicate study, period effect is calculated by comparing the pk parameter in four periods and we get only one value because in ANOVA, we test whether Period1=Period2=Period3=Period4 simultaneously. Dear Sinhmar, Thanks for reply, It means that comparison of PK parameters of different parameters are compared irrespective of treatment given in the period (e.g. PK parameters of Test of 1 period are not compared with PK parameters of Test of period 2 or same for reference. Secondly in replicate study if there is in any two period will be indicated by p value of less than 0.05 and if p is more than 0.05 it means there is no significant difference between the values of all periods. Yes, if p-value is less than 0.05 (for alpha=5%) then there is a significant difference between two or more periods and if more, then there is no significant difference between the values of all periods.
