Dear all, Kindly give the guidance about how to do pharmacodynamic analysis using WinNonlin software. Moreover, how to do statistical analysis of pharmacodynamic parameters? For your information, the drug is used to treat hypertension and congestive heart failure. Waiting for your valuable reply. Kaushal Raval |

Dear Kaushal! ❝ Kindly give the guidance about how to do pharmacodynamic analysis using ❝ WinNonlin software. I expect you to do your homework first (RTFM and WinNonlin's 'Examples Guide'). Further to Helmut's comments, these User and Examples guides can typically be found in the install directory e.g. C:\\Program Files\\Pharsight\\WinNonlin\\User Docs. Please look at page 57 of the examples guide if you are interested in a worked example of the new (from version 5.0) NCA model 220 for PD. Dear Helmut and Simon, Thank you for the answer. We are going to compare test vs. reference and it's a multiple dose study of 5 days and BE criteria is applicable for 5th day and sampling upto 24 hours for the 5th day. In this study, PK and PD both will be done. Now, how can i do statistical analysis based on the information? Thanks in advance, KR |

Hi Kaushal, again I would suggest you review your data and identify what you are comparing? PK? PD? both? Typically Cmax and AUC might be compared in e.g. the BE Wizard, however if you wanted to select some other parameter e.g. Tmin and Rmin (time of, and minimum effect seen, since I imagine you are seeking a decrease in blood pressure) and put them through that same Wizard (which is in fact a front end for the LinMix engine). You can learn about this from the Examples and User guides - or you could look at attending a training course (perhaps from Pharsight!) if you don't like reading manuals ![]() Simon. — Simon Senior Scientific Trainer, Certara™ [link=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xX-yCO5Rzag[/link] https://www.certarauniversity.com/dashboard https://support.certara.com/forums/ |
