Polynomial UIR [Dissolution / BCS / IVIVC]

Hello HS,
Iam novice in the field of IVIVC and Iam trying to understand the background of using Polynomial UIR function for deconvolution from PO &IV Bolus data.
What is the significance of increasing exponentials from 2(bi),3(tri),... etc for predicting the absorption profile of the drug

Please can you elaborate me !!

 Polynomial UIR

Harish, the significance of increasing exponentials, is to reflect the number of compartments you see in the 'reference' data e.g. if IV-2com model gives the best fit of your data then you will use that estimation of the elimination to deconvolve your oral profile.
