Dissolution profile estimation [Dissolution / BCS / IVIVC]

Dear All
Regards
I want to ask if there is any method through which we can guess the in vitro release profile of the product depending upon the in vivo results (plasma concentration time profile).
Thanks

 Dissolution profile estimation

I am sure you can do this by rearranging one of the correlation model equations once you had built a correlation - but I guess my question would be why? dissolution experiments are normally much cheaper (and quicker) than in vivo experiments.
