Dear Detlew, Yes, I do remember that. However, I would personally prefer your quotes. The co-author of 'Design and Analysis of Bioavailability and Bioequivalence Studies' and also many other biostat books, Dr. Shein-Chung Chow, was asked by audiences when he lectured at Taipei several times: "what kind of statistical computer program does he suggest to do all statistical analysis that he presents?" He replied:"you can use excel to do all statistical analysis of my today's presentations." He also said that's what he did at office or at home. I wonder if it is true or not.
