I would like to know how to calculate the sample size for three period pivotal study.

How many treatments? Are you talking about a simple cross-over (three treatments) or a replicate design (two treatments)?

Hi Neethu!

In such a case you assume a common variance. You can aplly the same methods you would use for a conventional 2×2 cross-over.
