Replicate Study Sample Size [Power / Sample Size]

Dear all,
Suppose we conducted pilot replicated study. In this we set Intra cv for test and Intra cv for reference seperately. If we plan for pivotal study which Intra cv (test or Reference) we consider for estimating sample size?

 Replicate Study Sample Size

Dear Ratnakar,
Thanks for your reply.

❝ Consider the data with larger variability.

Can you please explain which cv (intra subject cv for test or reference) or total variability, which we need to consider for estimating sample size?

Regards,
Pavan
