 Sample size for drugs available in different form [Power / Sample Size]

Dear All,

when calculating the sample size, if we have the intrasubject CV of the same drug but that drug exist in different form(for e.g, if we want to do a study of 'X'mg soft gelatin capsule and the CV is available with a study of 'X'mg tabletor injection can that be considered for calculation of sample size?
