 CV, intrasubject CV [Power / Sample Size]

Dear All,

Please clarify the doubt regarding the differences between Coefficient of variation (CV) and intrasubject CV. Can we use CV for the calculation of sample size instead of intrasubject CV? If we use CV then what is the formula to calculate the sample size. If any reference or material or websites are there please tell me. Thanks in advance
