Dear Pakawadee,

❝ ^^ Does it mean that I need to recalculate F-value of sequence effect by myself, when I run R program for BE? Does it have any way to directly get a right result for sequence by running the program?

R's anova default is to give you type I sums of squares with all terms tested against the residual model variation. Therefore, if you use plain R, you will have to test the sequence effect against the proper between-subject term manually. Also, if your dataset is unbalanced you will notice a slight discordance with the power to know's results as they by default are created with type III sums of squares.

Best regards
EM.

It’s always fun to have your models validated,
but is way more fun to have them trashed.
