Dear All,

I have one query regarding the lines mentioned below.

It is acceptable to use a two-stage approach when attempting to demonstrate bioequivalence. An initial group of subjects can be treated and their data analysed. If bioequivalence has not been demonstrated an additional group can be recruited and the results from both groups combined in a final analysis. [Line 564-566, Page 14]

Now my question is: Suppose when data corresponding to initial group of subjects is analysed, it demonstrates Bioequivalence. Then what is to be done. We still have to go for additional group of subjects as mentioned in the protocol or we can stop at first step? Suppose we stop at first stage in that case whether study will be accepted by EMEA or not?

Thanks and Regards,

Thanks & Regards
