Hi RUsers,

if you are incidentally in Vienna in early October, consider attending the symposium “Transforming data to insights – Celebrating 50 years of Medical Statistics”.
Michael Themessl-Huber of the Austrian Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research will give a presentation “Reproducibility of data analysis and reporting with R, R Markdown, knitr and LaTeX using the example of the standardized Austrian matriculation exam”.

I believe there is no philosophical high-road in science,
with epistemological signposts. No, we are in a jungle
and find our way by trial and error,
building our road behind us as we proceed.    Max Born
