Hi, all

We like to announce the release of bear (GPL, free opensource) which is a data analytical tool for average bioequivalence (AB) for R in this forum. Bear will perform some sample size estimation for ABE. Also it can do noncompartmental analysis (NCA) and then ANOVA (GLM). The data can be imported into bear with .csv format.

With bear, all you need is a spreadsheet, such as MS-Excel (if it's affordable) or OpenOffice Calc (which is a very nice freeware!) or even a plain .txt editor which is used to create your .csv format for the import of your data. We have tested bear with one of BE dataset and found that all output results to be the same as those generated by commercial software (like NCA using WinNonlin and ANOVA with SAS). Let us know if you have any question or comment about it. Thank you.

Visit it's website at http://pkpd.kmu.edu.tw/bear.

All the best,
