Dear All

I am looking for help in deciding whether it is safe to administer Dextromethorphan sustained release 90 mg syrup in a single dose in healthy adults and study its pharmacokinetic profile?

According to dosage guide of Delsym, for adults it is 10 mL (60 mg) every 12 hours and should not exceed 20 mL (120 mg) in 24 hours. I could get one study wherein 60 mg was given in health volunteers (https://europepmc.org/abstract/med/3679620. I could not get specific study wherein 90 mg was administered as a single dose in healthy volunteers.
