Hi Norah

The trut is that i´m relative new in BE, i think Phoenix is the standar also i used PASS for n calculation and NCSS for other statisticall test.. in my short experience they are a very friendly software but i still learning to use it. Another advantage is that the license is to perpetuity and at a more or less low cost (just for NCSS and PASS, Phoenix is too expensive). I do not know the disadvantages compared to other software but I do not like JMP and miniTAB seems easy but very simple in my opinion. And of course R, you can do almost everything that you want to do for free :-D
