The fast majority are not caused by humans. Of the 28 current visitors 82% are bots/spiders/web crawlers. Of them 39% come from the Baidu spider, followed by Bing with 30%, and Google with 13%. I prohibited Baidu from crawling, but it doesn’t care. Given the wide range of IPs bots have, it would be difficult for the forum’s scripts to filter them out and not advance the counter of views. I guess that only 10–20% of views of recent posts are “real” and the percentage of older ones is much lower.

I’m not gifted with [image] but PROC NLMM (or is it called NLMIXED?) should do the job. I’m using Phoenix/NLME (see this thread).
