Dear all colleagues,

We have uploaded bear v2.4.0 to CRAN ftp servers. Please use "update package" to upgrade from previous version from R console. Do NOT download the .zip file from CRAN ftp mirror directly and install this version as the "local zip file", since we have added some new features from some new R packages. The procedure of local zip file installation only installs bear without updating its R packages used. That may cause errors when you do "library(bear)" at R console. If you have done that way, you have to install these packages manually in this situation. Also, please try to upgrade your R to the current (v2.9.1) when running bear.

In this release, we add following new features:
  1. BE/BA data analysis with multiple-dose design, either crossover or parallel;
  2. Cook's distance for outlier detection in crossover study (including multiple dose and single dose) and the output file, ANOVA_stat.txt. This function has been validated using SAS; and
  3. y-axis scaling problems fixed.
