Dear Vyas,

I think the design you are suggesting raises much more important issues than just whether you should name it 3 or 5 treatments. I will let the stats gurus argue, but meanwhile you may have a look at this post. This, in addition to the high risk of dropouts with 5 periods and high volume of blood to be taken from the subjects.
