Dear PM,

please check with the sponsor which kind of formulations he wants to test. For calcium acetate FDA requires in vitro data only (tablet, capsule).
If you really want to go with an in vivo study, consider the body pool of ≈40 µg 46Ca and the narrow normal range of calcium concentrations due to homeostasis. I have some doubts whether you will “see” a relevant change even after a high dose.
