Sample size for parallel 3-way [Regulatives / Guidelines]

Hi everybody

How do I calculate a sample size for a parallel 3-way (T, R and Placebo) for a therapeutic equivalence trial with pain ordinal scores (0-4), for FDA submission. What software should I use?
