❝ I just wanted to to conduct BE study of Ziprasidone 20 mg capsule is there need to take No Objection Certificate from the Narcotics Commissioner India.

Dear Mr Santhosh,

Ziprasidone was not mentioned in the Indian List of Psychotropic Substances as specified in the Schedule to the NDPS Act, 1985.

Ziprasidone was not included in the Schedule I, II and III of Indian Prohibited substances under the provision of Rule 53 of the NDPS Rules, 1985.

Ziprasidone is also not a Precursor Chemicals exercised by the Narcotics Commissioner in accordance with Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) notification and Administrative Control.

Hence, no need to get No Objection Certificate from the Narcotics Commissioner of India.
