Dear Varsha,

No, the delegation is generally for full study. If P1 was handled by Co-investigator (in the absence of PI), it is not necessarily required that P2 of the same should be handled by the Co-investigator. If PI is available, then Period 2 might be handled by PI or Co-investigator.
