Me too. From our sponsors perspective it's the better choice and if rounding comes into play it looks much better . In that sense the R rounding is also a good choice.

I meant that simulations with θ_L ≤ 90% CI ≤ θ_U do not give substantial different results compared to θ_L < 90% CI < θ_U. Thus we can't choose that alternative which is closer to the analytical power calculation results (of course via PowerTOST ).
