If you have reliable estimates (≥3 data points) of λz, yes. See this presentation (slides 16–19). Easy to implement the formula(s) with a few custom transformations In PHX/WNL. Does not only help to correct for deviations from the planned sampling schedule but also – more importantly – to deal with missing values.
I would do so only as a last resort if the option above is not possible.
