Dear All,

Is the toxicity is also a reason for parallel study design?

 Parallel study design (AEs)

Dear Compliance!

❝ Is the toxicity is also a reason for parallel study design?

Correct. Sometimes it is not ethical to perform a study in healthy volunteers due to AEs (e.g., cytostatic drugs). If the disease state is not stable you cannot use a cross-over but have to go with a parallel design instead.
