Illegible Symbols in FDA's Guidelines [Tips / Tricks]

If your Acrobat Reader can’t render fonts which were not embedded in the document (e.g., WP TypographicSymbols) in some of FDA’s Guidances (e.g., ‘Statistical Approaches to Establishing Bioequivalence’), making formulas in the text illegible, help is on the way – for users of M$-Windows-based PCs only:

A self-extracting zip-archive of TrueType-Fonts is located at

ftp://ftp.corel.com/pub/WordPerfect/wpwin/9/wpfonts.exe

A zip-archive at

https://www.wfonts.com/download/data/2014/11/25/wp-typographicsymbols/wp-typographicsymbols.zip

Installation instructions at

http://www.olthuis.net/tools/fonts/wpfonts_readme.txt

ideas are not only poorly disposed to make discoveries, but they
also make very poor observations.    Claude Bernard
