 release of bear v2.1.0 [🇷 for BE/BA]

dear all,

We have decided to release and upload this version tonight to CRAN ftp sites (and its mirrors). It will take few days to become officially available. Plz update this version ONLY form your R console (Menu of Packages --> Update packages...) Bear deploys a new package called 'plotrix' from this version to do intra- and inter-subject residual plots. Don't worry about this. R will automatically install 'plotrix' for you if you follow the above procedure. Once you enter 'library(bear)', there may be some warning messages coming out saying 'xxxx package is compiled with R.v2.8.1...' or something like that. These messages should be able to ignored at this moment. This is because R v2.8.1 has not been released YET! BUT some R package developers used current Candidate Release version to recompile their packages. We find no error when running bear v2.1.0 under this situation. New release of R (v2.8.1) will be officially available soon (on Dec. 22, 2008). We will watch what will happen this time!;-) The main addition in this new release of bear is to add the analysis of outliers detection function and some diagnostic plots for this function. attached are two typical plots from analysis outliers detection as mentioned above. Thanks to all experts in this Forum, such as Helmut, DLabes, Aceto81, ElMaestro and many others. We really learn a lots from them, and also receive lots kindly assistance and encouragement.
