 PowerTOST on GitHub now [🇷 for BE/BA]

Dear All!

My little Baby is on GitHub https://github.com/Detlew/PowerTOST now :cool:.

If you have RTools installed and Hadley Wickham's package devtools you may now get the latest version, including bug fixes via

devtools::install_github("Detlew/PowerTOST")

even if not distributed via CRAN yet.
You may file issues, wishes, bug reports on the same site.

Regards,

Detlew

 PowerTOST from GitHub

Dear All,

be aware

devtools::install_github("Detlew/PowerTOST")

always installs from the master branch of the development and may have the danger of containing code that works not as intended. The version number in the DESCRIPTION file indicates this in using the suffix 9000 (at moment 1.4.1.9000).

Stable or what I/we (the authors) think is stable :-D may be obtained via looking at the releases page. Identify the latest (at moment v1.4-1) and install from that with

devtools::install_github("Detlew/PowerTOST", ref="v1.4-1")

or alternatively

devtools::install_github("Detlew/[email protected]")

I/we (the authors) highly recommend this way. Happy installing :cool:.
Nevertheless the safest way is of course via CRAN, but then without recent updates, bug fixes.

Regards,

Detlew
