 WinNonlin (MD simulation from SD data) [Software]

Dear all,

Please clarify,

“How to calculate the multiple dose study parameters from available single dose study data in Winnonlin software? (Simulation)”

 WinNonlin (MD simulation from SD data)

Dear Balakotu,
For a software specific usage question like this I would recommend to look to the Manual and/or Examples guide e.g. C:\Program Files (x86)\Pharsight\Phoenix\docs

As to your question it may be better answered on the new http://www.certara.com/forums where not only can you search the old Pharsight Phoenix threads but can also 'follow' the forums of interest to you so you are automatically notified of new posts. For instance, there is a question about superposition here;
http://www.certara.com/forums/topic/623-steady-state-simulation/?hl=simulation

Nonetheless to get you started you first need to clarify to me;

❝ “How to calculate the multiple dose study parameters from available single dose study data in Winnonlin software? (Simulation)”

are you looking to simply perform NonParametric Superposition and then perform an NCA assuming on the results? If so what are you expecting to find/demonstrate?

Or are you seeking tips on how to turn a previously fitted model into a simulation?

 New “Forum”

Hi Simon,

❝ […] the new http://www.certara.com/forums where not only can you search the old Pharsight Phoenix threads […]

Board Forum. ;-)

Will the posts be edited after the migration from the old board? We were referring to a specific one in a recently submitted manuscript and the new post looks awful – it seems that line feeds were deleted.
Are there any plans to bring back categories?

@Balakotu: Following Simon’s question

❝ are you looking to simply perform NonParametric Superposition and then perform an NCA assuming on the results? If so what are you expecting to find/demonstrate?

NPS assumes linear and time-invariant PK. AUCτ (steady state) should be exactly AUC (single dose). You might see small differences because in NPS sampling time points are evenly spaced and don’t match the actual ones in SD.

 New “Forum”

Hi Helmut, I updated the formatting on the new forum and have asked the migration team to see what scripts they can run to crrect any other formatting issues/lost links
looks better ?

if you see any other problems please 'report' that post and I'll get that sorted too.

BTW I have been told that we will have linked the accounts very soon so you will see your old post count.

Simon.
