Latin Square Design ? [Design Issues]

Dear All,

Can we consider the below design as Latin Square Design?

T1 T2 T3 R
T2 T3 R  T1
T3 R  T1 T2
R  T1 T2 T3

And moreover, I was taught that an LSD can be check/explain in short as the same sequence of treatments will be same in a row or column. Is this correct?

Please help me in this.

Thanks in advance,

Regards,
MGR

 Latin Square Design ?

Dear MGR,

❝ Can we consider the below design as Latin Square Design?

T1 T2 T3 R

T2 T3 R  T1

T3 R  T1 T2

R  T1 T2 T3

AFAIK, the below tabulated scheme will represent a Latin Square Design for a four treatment study.

T1 T2 R  T3
T2 T3 T1 R
T3 R  T2 T1
R  T1 T3 T2

Thanks & Regards,
IP.

 Latin Square ↔ Williams’ design

Dear both,

AFAIK the former is indeed a Latin Square, whereas the latter is a Williams’ design.
