 Calculation using proportions [Power / Sample Size]

Dear All,

I need a clarification regarding the sample size calculation by using proportions, differences and delta for clinical trails. And please suggest me the formula used for this calculation. And in how many types we can calculate the sample size in any type of studies? thanks in advance.
